putthison: “I’m embarrassed to admit that I own a motif tie - it’s navy and has pheasants on it. I wore it once with a brown tweed jacket, and then later realized I looked ridiculous, so I’ve never picked it up again. I’m sure it works for some men, but definitely not on an emaciated Asian like me.”

I’m a big fan of the Wodehouse stories (and the Fry and Laurie depictions). I do however have a large number of motif ties.
